STEP Transportation Announces Fare Adjustment

STEP, Inc. announces that effective January 1, 2025, it will implement a fare increase in the mileage driven, zone-based fare structure for its Shared-Ride Transportation program. The fare increase is a result of increased fuel, labor, and other operational costs.

The fare increase is being made in consultation with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The fare increase is needed to balance the cost associated with providing transportation services while continuing to provide and enhance the highest level of service possible.
