Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year will be conducted throughout the elementary schools on the following dates:

Your child must be five full years of age on or before September 1, 2025.

Parents must bring the following documents on registration day:
Birth Certificate
Dental Records (most current records)
Immunization Records*
Physical (physical must be within the past year and dated after Aug. 2023)
Legal (custody agreement, PFA, etc.)
Proof of Residency (utility bill preferred, or lease, rental agreement, or property taxes)

*Northern Tioga School District Policy 201 states the Superintendent or designee shall require that the parent/guardian of each student who registers for entrance to the school shall exhibit his/her birth certificate or similar documentation as submit proof of age and birth date.

*Required immunizations:
- 4 doses diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis (DTP) (1 dose on or after the fourth birthday)
- 4 doses polio (4th dose on or after 4th birthday and at least 6 months after previous dose given)
- 2 doses measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
- 3 doses hepatitis B
- 2 doses of varicella (chicken pox) or written statement by family physician of having had the disease with the date or age of the child.
